Create Your Own Festival Wedding
We have really enjoyed working with Bride & Groom and proud parents to create mini festivals at a variety of locations. Sometimes this is a field borrowed or rented from a farmer or landowner near a family home or friendly pub. In other cases people have rented part or all of a campsite where some infrastructure is already in place on site.
Whereas this wedding style poses some logistical challenges, we can help with these & work through creating a Festival wedding from the blank canvas a field site offers.

More & more people have happy memories of going to festivals & want to share this lifestyle with friends & family. If you or some of your guests like camping/ glamping/ have camper vans, then staying on site has several advantages… Guests often have long journeys to attend weddings, arrival on Friday means they are settled & have less stress of travel on the big day. It also makes for a more relaxed end of the night with less Taxi stress & ease of folk returning to their accommodation on foot when they want to.
You can get more value out of the cost of hiring equipment by using it for longer…perhaps hosting a barbeque for some guests on Friday or a Sunday Breakfast before guests travel home. But the main benefit is simple…time shared, making happy memories, time to properly catch up with everyone that a rushed day event sometimes does not allow…
- As well as our unique venues; good food, good music & a few fun elements are all it takes to create this kind of event.
- Sometimes people might book a festival style caterer or a street food caterer used to working in this way.
- They might run their own bar or get a bar company or local pub to do this for them.
- Good entertainment for kids helps adults relax & get a bit of time off duty to chat. This can be organised professional childcare/ entertainers or simply a space to play & put toys and games to keep little folk happy.
- A good band/ bands and or DJs can get the party rocking later on the main day, but it is very easy now to have speakers playing tunes from a playlist either for background music earlier on or entertainment for a cheeky session on Friday night or Sunday lunchtime…

Ultra Gazebo– some caterers have their own barbeque/ van cooking set up and just need a small prep space/ bad weather option- this works well for this situation
18ft canopy– As Outdoor / barbeque / street food/ woodfired cooking has become more popular we have found canopies can offer cover for informal eating or give caterers more cover for food prep/ serving to improve caterers own set up…

Issues to consider
- For our Structures grass works better than hardstanding/ Patios/ decking
- We can sometimes install on Hard surfaces, but this requires drilling fixings into those, we have to charge a reasonable extra for time and material cost.
- We can sometimes fix canopies / marquees to buildings
- Access- Our equipment is bulky and heavy. There may be surcharges where access restricts our vehicles and unloading takes more time and people power.
- Electricity supply- whereas you can power events from you domestic electric supply this has to be planned to be done safely, we can help with this. In some cases a trained electrician may be required where outside sockets need installing etc.
